  1. Hey, Peter. I saw a comment about you in the Steve's blog. I'm from Spain, and I met Steve in my Alaskan journey last summer.
I read your interview and I like your work, specially your earthquake video.
    Regards,
    Tomás

  2. Buenes dias, Tomás,
Gracias por los palabres sincecero como los palabres del amigo. I think you speak better English than I do Spanish, so I will switch over. Your kind words about my work give me much pleasure, and I hope We will meet one day, if not in Alaska, then in Spain. Do you have a link that you can share to your cartoons?

I'm all the time missing Alaska since my family and I came back in september. The encounter with Steve was a fantastic chance thanks to the Harding Icefield and my children's book Salfon. I'll never forget it.
It would be great too meeting you in Spain. Are you planning a trip?

  4. Hola Tomás,

Many thanks for the links to your excellent work. I especially like the dense line work and dramatic lights and darks of your caricatures. Steve is one of a kind and it's great that you met him. Sadly I do not have immediate plans to travel to Spain. Like you with Alaska, I do have fond memories. I was especially impressed with the Gaudi architecture in Barcelona and the paintings by Goya that hang in the Prado. After 20 years I can still see the beauty of the sunset that we watched from a train bound for the Pyrenees.
